Mack & Sydney: Downtown Charm and Studio Elegance

When Mack, a friend of mine, reached out to share the exciting news of his engagement to Sydney, I was thrilled! Not only did he ask me to capture their engagement photos, but he also invited me to photograph their wedding just a month later. It’s always an honor to document a love story, and this one was extra special.

For their engagement session, we started in downtown Harrisonburg, exploring its vibrant streets. We found a charming spot nestled between the shops that provided a perfect urban backdrop for their photos. Mack and Sydney’s love and excitement for their future together were evident in every frame, making my job an absolute joy.



After the downtown shoot, we transitioned to the studio to wrap up their session. The clean and simple indoor space allowed their connection to truly shine, creating a set of timeless, intimate portraits.
